TRADE FACILITY CIRCULAR NO. 07/2010

               Attention is drawn to Trade Facility Circular no.50/05 dt.5.4.05 relating to Customs procedure for operation of duty free ships at BIAL.

             

              The following changes are made in the above Trade Facility Circular:-

              

1.             The furnishing of information in annexure G, of the said facility circular  may hence be dispensed with, as the challan contains all the details of the passengers to whom the sales are made from the duty free shop.

 

2.             Marking of goods sold from the duty free shop, need not carry the

marking “Duty free shop-Not to be consumed in India” on all products, as the duty free product are distinguishable from the non-bonded goods, as the non-bonded goods carry the MRP tag.

            

                    Paras V(a) and V(d) of the Trade Facility Circular no.50/05 dt.5.4.05 are replaced by 1 and 2 above.

 

                        Further, it is clarified that free allowance of Rs.25,000/-(as provided in the Baggage (Amendment) Rules,2006-(Baggage Rules,1998), is inclusive of two bottles of liquor.
